Town Hill Common, the original site of Whitingham Village, is on Town Hill Rd. just off Route 100 between the villages of Whitingham and Jacksonville. It's a place of peace and beauty with picnic benches that encourage one to pause and enjoy a great view of the Green Mountains. There is a ball field and a play area for children.

A white granite memorial monument to Brigham Young, leader of the Mormon Church who was born in Whitingham in 1801, stands at the edge of the Common.
