Whether you speak Italian, or are just starting to learn, come and join us at "Laughing in Italian."

Can you laugh in Italian? Sure you can. Can you speak Italian? Why not? It's the only way you can change your name to Tony or Isabella, while having everybody believe you just arrived from Italy.
Come and learn about Italians. Be introduced to the language. It's all in the flick of the wrist and the rrrolling of the r's.

Laughing in Italian teaches the language as it is spoken, full of unique expressions and sprinkled with its colorful dialects that make it come alive. The classes take place in the relaxed atmosphere of La Fiorentina Pastry Shoppe, at 19 Armory St., Northampton, MA. 

Class fee -- $15.00

Private tutoring sessions are also available.

Mini-Courses for Beginner and Intermediate Students

We offer mini-courses in Conversational/Colloquial Italian for beginner and intermediate students, of any age.  Call for more information regarding children's attendance.

 Each course is 4 classes of 1 1/2 hour each. Each class will include grammar, reading, writing, and conversation. During part of the class, we will pretend we are in Italy; at this time, when in need of translation, we will use gestures and drawings to communicate.

Be prepared for fanciful conversations. You can speak as yourself or as any character you choose. So far we have had a queen, a devil, a vampire, a rat, and a cook. Let's have fun!

The real Fun will be realizing how much you are learning. 

Pre-registration for the mini-course is necessary.
Fee is $55.00 to be received by September 3rd.
