We would love to sing to you......... "Moonlight and Morning Star" are a multicultural group, whose music is a fusion of diverse musical traditions. Their performances interweave a fabric of sound out of elements of gospel, jazz, Jewish, soul, funk, folk, blues and world music. Their voices uplift audiences blending together in exquisite harmonies, supported by rich, compelling keyboards and percussion. An intimate performance style brings audiences into the closeness that they share. Their original compositions use spoken word combined with song and instrumentals to explore both personal and global issues. A quality of deep respect and appreciation for the diversity of life is embodied in their artistic work. Moonlight and Morning Star have played across the East Coast to audiences of all ages, at coffeehouses, concert halls, festivals, conferences, weddings, houses of worship, schools and colleges. The Massachusetts Cultural Council has supported many of their performances. BIOS
