MotherWoman Inc. is a grassroots non-profit organization, dedicated to raising consciousness among mothers. Our vision is to one by one connect mothers to their deepest Self in a nourishing group environment. We create a sacred, safe space for mothers to explore, express and heal old patterns,beliefs and wounds that impact our mothering today. We know that mothering is both a blessed and challenging experience.

At MotherWoman we explore the many paradoxes in the mothering journey and encourage speaking the truth. We don't sugarcoat it, but look for opportunities to find the gold, even in the darkness. Women who participate in MotherWoman groups and workshops experience a community of acceptance, non-judgment and compassion that is rare and precious.

Annette Cycon and Gabrielli LaChiara are the founders and co-directors of MotherWoman Inc. Both are licensed clinical social workers, trained group facilitators and mothers. About the Founders

Through their professional & personal experience, Gabrielli & Annette knew that the general well-being of the family is directly influenced by the well-being of the mother and that when a mother takes good care of herself emotionally, mentally, physically & spiritually, she is a much more effective parent. In 1997, each began to offer community groups & workshops designed to support mothers. Then, in 2000 Annette & Gabrielli joined forces, and MotherWoman was created, with its mission to strengthen families by strengthening mothers.

To date, MotherWoman has served hundreds of mothers throughout New England through a multi-tierd spectrum of group services that include one-day workshops, 8-week intensives, educational seminars, facilitator training and more. Women leave MotherWoman groups stronger. They go home better mothers. They gather strength and inspiration from each other and from within themselves. They claim what is essential to them as mothers and they carry this precious awareness back home to their children, who find a more grounded, clear & loving mother ...a wise woman. Children raised in this way experience guidance and love that allows them to develop to their fullest potential. Core Philopsophy
